Yesterday BBC launch sport app focuses to international sports fans. The free app, now available to the iPhone and iPad but the android version will launch soon.

This app will include the all the games like English Premier League soccer, Formula One auto racing, rugby, golf, cricket and tennis. The important thing is the app includes live scores, stats, schedules, standings and commentary. For making app more usable they add a customizable menu that lets users highlight the sports that most interest them.

The company representative James Montgomery, controller of digital and technology for BBC Global News, respond about this app as "More and more, we're finding that fans want to follow results on their mobile devices while they're on the move,"

Montgomery says a third of traffic to the BBC Sport homepage now comes via mobile. During major sporting days, he says, that figure can rise to 40%. What you think is it helpful for the company to increase their traffic? You can respond using the command section.
