Nokia’s phone-launching onslaught continues today, with the news that an all-new Nokia 515 feature phone will be introduced to the world in September, starting with Russia, Germany, Switzerland and Poland.
The new device will be made of aluminum and will come in two variants – single and dual SIM. It will be available in black or white and comes in at 11 mm thick. So we’re talking slender here.
Running on the Series 40 (S40) operating system, it will also have 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, with a choice of image capture, editing and sharing options. And it will have 3.5G HSDPA connectivity, as well as an HD voice feature for clearer audio.
With a recommended retail price of $149 (€115), the handset won’t be aimed at the bottom-end of the market, unlike the 207, 208 and 208 Dual SIM handsets launched back in July, which represented the company’s cheapest 3G-enabled Series 40 featurephones.
